SPRING-SUMMER PROGRAMMING

SPRING-SUMMER RULES

Registering as a Team

Teams may register in person at the ARC front desk, or online.  The team bond must be paid with registration.  Individual player fees (where applicable) must be paid by the individual at the ARC front desk prior to participating.

Spring/Summer 2010:  Register May 1-May 15.
Fall 2010:  Register September 15-18
Winter 2011:  Register October 20-Nov 19

Space within divisions is limited and will be allotted on a first-come, first served basis.  Following registration, the team captain or alternate must attend the league captains meeting. Meeting schedule can be found here.

Registering as an Individual

Students who are looking for a team to join should attend Athletics & Recreation Open House, Tuesday September 14th from 4-8pm in the ARC.  There, individual societies will be running sign-ups for their society teams.

Those missing Athletics & Recreation Open House may register as a "free-agent" online or in person at the ARC Customer Service Desk.  These free agents will be placed onto teams if/where space is available.  If enough free-agents register and space permits, a free-agent team may be created.

Bonds & Fees
Team default bonds must be paid BY THE TEAM CAPTAIN upon registration.  Any applicable player fees (hockey, soccer dome) or team fees (curling), must be paid by the individual/team at the ARC front desk prior to participating in any game.

Bonds must be picked up from the ARC front desk.  Fall league bonds can be picked up starting December 8th.  Winter and full-year league bonds can be picked up starting April 11th.  ALL BONDS MUST BE PICKED UP BY APRIL 21ST.

Officials
Interested in making some cash officiating games? Come out to one of our officials meetings in ARC.

Meeting schedules will be posted in late August.

NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!!!!!  Intramural Officiating is a great way to make some extra cash while staying active in the sport(s) you love.  Flexible working hours and a great team atmosphere!!!

Refund Policy
Bonds:   Full refund if no defaults, 50% refund with 1 default, 0% refund with 2 or more defaults.  If a team wishes to withdraw from a league they have entered, they may do so up to 7 days in advance of the first league game.

Player Fees:  Individual fees will not be refunded once a player has played in one game.

BEWIC Sports Days:  Refunds for BEWIC Sports Days (less an administrative fee) will be issued if a team withdraws prior to the participant t-shirt order being placed, or if another team can be found to take-over their t-shirt order.

A team ejected from the league for disciplinary reasons will not receive a refund of their entry fee or bond.

Exceptions to this policy may be made for medical reasons.

Cancellations
