Queen’s Athletics & Recreation’s Q-Camps is the leading sport camp provider in the Kingston area offering a variety of different camps for all age groups and skill levels. From our beginner ActiveFUN to our Elite Gaels Camps, the Athletics & Recreation Q-Camp program has your children’s needs covered throughout the calendar year.
Our camp counsellors create a positive atmosphere designed to help your children develop friendships, athletic skills, and most of all have FUN. Q-Camps not only teach sports skills, but intend to help campers learn positive attitudes while encouraging teamwork, cooperation and fair play. All campers are encouraged to lead a healthy and active lifestyle while gaining positive self esteem.

Elite Gaels Camps (Ages 13-18) – Designed for the up-and-coming young athlete, Elite Gaels Camps focus on skill development in the sports of Basketball, Fencing, Football, Soccer and Volleyball. These camps teach sport specific skills and are geared towards athletes with previous experience in their chosen sport. Coaching Staff and members of the Queen’s Gaels act as instructors & counsellors during all Elite Gaels Camps. (More)
March Break & Holiday Camps (Sports Camps: Ages 8-13) – Looking for a way to keep your child active during March Break or the December Holiday – then this camp is for your family. Campers take over the Athletics & Recreation Centre (ARC) with a variety of activities held throughout the day. The focus in these camps is to have fun and try out different activities like basketball, dodgeball, ultimate and much much more. Campers also enjoy a free swim in the pool each day! Single-day registrations, lunch packages, as well as before & after camp care are also available for the parent on the go. (More)
Summer Camps (Sports Camps: Ages 8-13) – Queen’s biggest sport camp program of the year! Summer Camps are held every week throughout July and August with campers broken into groups of appropriate age and skill level – keeping campers challenged all summer long. Parents have lots of variety with one or two week options available. Swim & Gym, Just for Fish, Girls Club, and Field Sports are some of the most popular. All counsellors are current university students with many being a member of the Queen’s Gaels. (More)
ActiveFUN Camps (Ages 5-7) – ActiveFUN Camps are offered during Summer, March Break and the December Holidays camps. Youngsters learn the FUNdementals of throwing and catching through modified sports & games. This camp is specifically designed to develop your child’s hand eye coordination and motor skills. (More)
Sports Specific Summer Camps (Ages 9+) - These camps are an introduction to the skills & drills required to play the sport at a higher level. Offered in July & August these camps are instructed mostly by members of the Queen’s Gaels with guest appearances by Gaels Coaching Staff. This is a stepping stone to the Elite Gaels Camps. Sports Days – (Grades 4-8) – Teachers take note! This full-day program is an ideal way to get your students active outside the classroom. Open to students in Grades 4 to 8 in December, May and June, the concept of the program is to provide your students with quality instruction while exposing them to a number of new sporting activities.
