KINGSTON, Ont. – A late goal gave the host Laval Rouge et Or a share of the spoils as they drew the Queen's Gaels, 1-1, in preseason women's soccer action in Quebec City. The contest marked the first game action of the season for both teams.
Rookie forward
Brenna Drummond (Sammamish, Wash., Eastlake High School ) opened the scoring for the Gaels in the 55th minute off a free kick, and Laval's Lea Chastenay-Joseph's scored in the last minute of stoppage game to tie the game.

Madison Tyrell each played 30 minutes in goal for the Gaels.
The Gaels return to action at the Old Four Tournament in Toronto this weekend. They will play Western on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the U of T Varsity Centre, with the consolation and championship games set for 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday.
