Kingston, Ont. (May 10, 2010) – Queen's men's basketball will host the 2010 Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 12th at Black Bear Ridge Golf Course in Belleville, Ont.
Hosted by Head Coach Rob Smart and Assistant Coach Duncan Cowan, the tournament will be a four-man scramble, including a barbeque dinner, embroidered Queen's basketball golf shirt and prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive and 'low' teams. The event is an 11:00am Shot Gun Start Format.
The tournament fee is $200 per player or $130 for alumni who have graduated from the men's basketball program within the last three years. To register please contact Duncan Cowan at qmbball@queensu.ca.
Black Bear Ridge Golf Course was ranked the best course in Southeastern Ontario by SCORE Golf Magazine in 2008.
