Kelsey Thomson (Martintown, Ont.) recorded four goals and netted two game winning goals over the weekend in a pair of victories for the Gaels.  This helped Queen’s defeat both UOIT and Guelph by the score of 3-1.  On Saturday against UOIT, Thomson would open the scoring and then add her second of the night 10 minutes later to give the Gaels a 2-0 lead and the eventual win.   Sunday saw Thomson score on the power-play breaking a 1-1 tie.  Later she added the empty netter to ensure the Gaels victory.  Thomson now has nine goals and leads the team in that category; she is second in team scoring with 10 points
